Choreographer and company director Larry Keigwin first performed at the Pillow in 1999 with Jane Comfort, and he also danced with the companies of Mark Dendy and John Jasperse. When he founded his own group in 2003 with Nicole Wolcott, the Pillow's Inside/Out stage was part of his debut season's itinerary, and they have appeared in the Doris Duke Theatre in subsequent years. His credits are unusually broad for a concert dance creator, also encompassing Broadway, Off-Broadway, cabaret, fashion shows, and even Radio City Music Hall where he has been an associate choreographer for the Rockettes. Many of his works are structured as suites, mixing pop and classical music in what might be characterized as both high and low art.
