Collaboration is at the very heart of this company’s mission, led by the husband-and-wife team of choreographer Zoe Scofield and visual artist Juniper Shuey. Based in Seattle, the collaborators demonstrate a shared respect for classical form and a desire to make works with a heightened sense of reality. Their creative output encompasses video installations and photography works as well as dance projects. Scofield and Shuey have been awarded important residencies at major venues throughout the country, and this particular full-evening piece grew out of a Creative Development Residency at Jacob’s Pillow in 2010.
