The Pillow’s 2015 season opened with this brand-new vision of Stravinsky’s “Rite of Spring” by Gustavo Ramírez Sansone, the former director of Luna Negra.

The Rite of Spring, 2013
Although Graham herself danced The Chosen One in 1930, she didn’t get around to choreographing her own version until 1984, and she personally rehearsed it on the Ted Shawn Theatre stage that same year.
