Dedicated to showcasing ice dancing as an internationally-recognized art form since 2014, Maine-based Ice Dance International is led by founding artistic director Douglas Webster. Its stellar group of founders includes ballet superstar Edward Villella and his wife Linda as well as the late Debbie Gordon and legendary skating personality Dick Button. The company has been featured in two American Public Television specials which aired on PBS, both filmed in Sun Valley, Idaho. This world premiere—following the company’s Pillow debut in 2019—was performed on EZ Glide synthetic ice, formed by interlocking polymer panels that mimic the properties of ice.
