Miguel Gutierrezis a multi-disciplinary artist based in Lenapehoking/Brooklyn and Tovaangar/Los Angeles. His work aims to create empathetic and irreverent spaces for queer and trans people of color to dream. sueño was developed during a Pillow Lab residency which included time in the Pillow Archives viewing and reflecting on icons of early 20th century modern dance, especially Ted Shawn, Harald Kreutzberg, and Isadora Duncan.
