Gaby Cook, the director of New York Swings, is an influential professional in the global Lindy Hop community, having performed and taught for major swing dance festivals worldwide. She is a principal dancer for SW!NG OUT, which premiered at New York’s Joyce Theater in 2021 and was presented at Jacob’s Pillow the following year. Since the early 2000s, she has been an active advocate for Lindy Hop in a range of dance communities, and she leads several swing dance programs in New York City.
