Jennifer Edwards

Jennifer Edwards wears many ‘hats’ in the arts and culture sector, and beyond. She is a writer / story-crafter, facilitator, and organizational design specialist.

Her first love and vocation is dancing and choreographing, which led to her engagements with Jacob’s Pillow as a consultant, Scholar in Residence, strategic project manager for the Themes | Essays portion of the Dance Interactive, and now a writer and curator in the Dance & Society vertical. She is also the Director / Producer of PillowVoices, the podcast launched in 2019 by the Pillow.

Jennifer has designed and delivered curricula in Arts, Business and Entrepreneurship for institutions including: NEW INC, the New Museum’s incubator for projects that sit at the intersection of art, design and technology, Point Park University, and The Juilliard School. She lectures at The Georgia Institute of Technology, Brown University and Drexel University and is a Master Lecturer at The University of the Arts, in Philadelphia. She is also co-founder of better_, a strategy, organizational design and brand management firm whose clients include The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron, as well as many businesses and start-ups that are women-owned and purpose driven.

Jennifer has written about dance and the arts for The Huffington Post, The Dance Enthusiast, the Americans For the Arts blog, From the Green Room: the journal of Dance/USA, and Dance Magazine. She earned her MFA in dance and choreography from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and completed post-graduate work in Organizational Design and Change Management at the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy at The New School.
