Scolieri is the author of the award-winning book Dancing the New World: Aztecs, Spaniards, and the Choreography of Conquest (University of Texas Press, 2013) and the authoritative biography Ted Shawn: His Life, Writings, and Dances (Oxford University Press, 2019).
