The TL Collective is a Los Angeles-based company under the direction of young award-winning choreographer Micaela Taylor. With training in hip hop and African dance as well as classical ballet, Taylor graduated from the Cornish College of the Arts in 2014. She has been named one of Dance Magazine‘s “25 to Watch” and has been commissioned by Gibney, BODYTRAFFIC, and the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, who was scheduled to present her work during the Pillow’s cancelled 2020 season. The evening-length Drift “seeks to demonstrate an individual’s ever-changing relationship to self while exposing a personal season of self-growth.”
