Bebe Miller’s vision of dance and performance resides in her faith in the moving body as a record of thought, experience, and sheer beauty. She first performed at Jacob’s Pillow in 1986, just a year after founding her company, and she has returned many times since as a performer, teacher, and resident artist. She was a Distinguished Professor in Dance at Ohio State University’s College of Arts and Humanities from 2000 to 2016, and continues to create and tour new work with her company. Landing/Place concerns itself with the impact of the unfamiliar alongside the everyday, grappling with how the sense of self shifts as we experience change.
