This brother-and-sister duo can boast a wide range of impressive professional credits stretching back nearly 20 years. Both trained by Paul and Arlene Kennedy in Los Angeles, they have worked in concert dance, in films, and in musical theater productions on Broadway and in touring shows. Billed as The Double J’s, they toured together in two Cirque de Soleil shows spanning four years. They created the work seen here as part of Michelle Dorrance’s TIRELESS: A Tap Dance Experience, a full evening created especially for Jacob’s Pillow (also including Reona Seo, Jumaane Taylor, and Joe Orrach). The harmony for this duo exists in the staged versus the unstaged and how they are both one and the same.
