Gabriel “Kwikstep” Dionisio (also known as DJ KS 360) is an international icon in breaking, and Ana “Rokafella” Garcia (also known as La Roka) was named by Latina magazine as “one of the most iconic b-girls in hop hop history.” This husband-and-wife team runs a New York-based hip hop company known as Full Circle Productions, which provides training to aspiring hip hop dancers with a focus on the cultural roots, trajectory, and grown of classical styles. Presented as part of a tribute to the 50th anniversary of hip hop entitled “Hip Hop Across the Pillow,” this world premiere shared a program with Ladies of Hip Hop and Rennie Harris Puremovement. Thief of Hearts is the story of two burglars trying to outsmart each other to steal a diamond, and it encompasses classic dance styles such as Lockin, Poppin, Breakin, Rockin, and Salsa.
