Growing up in Pittsburgh, Kyle Abraham began training there at the Civic Light Opera Academy and the Creative and Performing Arts High School, studying classical cello, piano, and the visual arts as well as dance. He later earned degrees from SUNY Purchase and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and has performing credentials with the companies of David Dorfman, Nathan Trice, and Bill T. Jones. His own company, Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion, includes dancers from various disciplines and diverse personal backgrounds. Among the works performed by the company at the Pillow are Pavement and Dearest Home.
