Born and raised in New York City, Loni Landon graduated from The Juilliard School and also attended The School at Jacob’s Pillow. She has performed with Aszure Barton, Ballet Theater Munich, and The Metropolitan Opera, and she has received numerous awards for her choreography. Passionate about entrepreneurship in the arts, she co-founded The Playground in order to give emerging choreographers a place to experiment. The work seen here was commissioned by Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery, where it made visible the eternal cycle of decay and rebirth.
