Nathan Trice founded nathantrice/RITUALS in New York City in 1998 after serving in the U.S. Navy and completing the Alvin Ailey Certificate Program. He has worked with MOMIX, Complexions, and the companies of Joseph Holmes and Donald Byrd, among others. Trice and his company have toured both nationally and internationally, and he has staged his dances for numerous colleges and companies. A program note for Conversations reads, “Three couples come together to create an intimate setting that sketches the emotional terrain connecting each person to the other.”
