Based in Northern Ireland, Oona Doherty studied at The London School of Contemporary Dance, University of Ulster, and Laban London. She has been performing dance theater internationally since 2010, with companies based in the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium. Her own work has been commissioned by the Dublin Dance Festival, the Abbey Theatre, and the Ballet National de Marseille, and performed throughout Europe and in New York City. In a program note, the dance’s trajectory is described as “From the death of form and order into a rebirth.”
