Samara Cohen, aka Princess Lockerooo, is a performance artist, content curator, educator, and activist with a significant tenure in the dance and entertainment industries. Her unique brand of entertainment stands for self-empowerment, equality, and sensuality without objectification. Described in The New York Times as “a whirling force with a singular focus: spreading the gospel of Waacking,” she has been showcased on television (Harry, The Wendy Williams Show, So You Think You Can Dance), worked with top artists (Madonna, Jody Watley, Icona Pop), and produced entertainment for events at Lincoln Center, Summerstage, and Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. Her dancers are Daeun Cho (aka Onjay), a South Korean-born Waacking specialist who trained at Peridance, and Sampantha, an American club dancer who has performed with multiple street dance companies.
