Sekou McMiller is a New York City/Chicago-based choreographer, teacher, curator, and producer at the forefront of a new movement in Afro Latin dance. McMiller’s fusion style has a strong Afro-Caribbean essence that is laced with many different dance techniques. His work has been seen in a range of prominent venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center and the United Nations General Assembly, while he has appeared in films including In the Heights. In addition to his stage work, McMiller was a director of the Musical Theatre program at The School at Jacob’s Pillow in 2024.
