Introducing themselves onstage both in spoken word and through their individual movement genres, these artists identify as a Brooklyn-born Puerto-Rican from New Haven, a Mexican Puerto-Rican Jew from the Lower East Side, and a Bengali Indian from New Jersey. Soles of Duende is on a lifelong mission to elevate the joy and music of true collaboration across the disciplines of Tap, Flamenco, and Kathak, celebrating both their connections and their differences to uplift the forms that made them.
