Formed in 2005, The Hood Lockers are an internationally known group who have devoted their lives to the cultural preservation and progression of the dance style known as Locking. Their notoriety comes from their ability to capture the essence of The Lockers, the iconic dance group led by Don “Campbellock” Campbell who pioneered this style in the 1970s. In 2019, the group had the opportunity to portray The Lockers in the hit BET drama series, American Soul.
