After a professional dancing career spanning 14 years with Scapino Ballet, Geneva Ballet, and Rambert Dance Company, Didy Veldman began an international freelance choreographic career in 2000. She has created works for renowned companies around the world, including Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, both of whom presented Veldman dances at the Pillow. Her own company, now known as Humanoove, made its U.S. debut at the Pillow as Umanoove in the full-evening work sampled here.
