While Caleb Teicher began his professional career in 2011 as a founding member of Michelle Dorrance’s celebrated company, Dorrance Dance, his Jacob’s Pillow appearances began the year before when he was a participant in both the Tap Program and the Jazz/Musical Theatre Dance Programs in The School at Jacob’s Pillow. He has proven his versatility through performances with Chase Brock, The Bang Group, Sally Silvers, and an international tour of West Side Story, and his work has been commissioned by The Joyce Theater, New York City Center, Works & Process @ The Guggenheim, and The Kennedy Center. Caleb Teicher & Company helped launch the 2019 Pillow season with a performance of Bzzz on the Season Opening Gala. Teicher met composer-pianist Conrad Tao when they were both teenagers supported by the YoungArts Foundation. Tao has since been commissioned by the New York Philharmonic and has performed with major orchestras around the world. The early stages of More Forever took place in a Pillow Lab residency at Jacob’s Pillow.
