Faye Driscoll is a Bessie Award-winning New York-based dancemaker who has been called a “startlingly original talent” by The New York Times. Her work has been presented in prominent venues across the country as well as in Europe and South America. As a performer, she toured for several years with Doug Varone & Dancers, performing with them at the Pillow in 2001. Her Pillow connections began when she participated in the Modern Traditions Workshop in the 1990s. Thank You For Coming is the umbrella title for a series of full-evening works, each of which creates a communal space where the audience’s relationship to the dancers is questioned, heightened, and palpable. The first part of the trilogy, Thank You For Coming: Attendance, was presented at the Pillow in 2017.
